We're building robots that just work and use them to deliver autonomous services at scale. Our first use case is semi-humanoid robots for manufacturing and logistics. Unlike traditional robotics companies, we don't sell robots, we provide physical agents for hire where companies pay for the robots based on usage, decreasing the barrier to entry and expanding the robotics market as a whole.

Forge Robotics is changing the way that metal parts are fabricated. We are enabling a future where our intelligent robotic system completes all steps needed to take raw metal stock and transform it into fully welded parts. Beginning with welding, we are building a robot-mounted vision system and AI feature detection that creates a real-time 3D map and tells the arm exactly where to go at every instant.

  • Cyberdesk
    Cyberdesk
    Y Combinator LogoS2025
Active • 2 employees • San Francisco, CA, USA
Cyberdesk is the first self learning computer use agent for developers to automate desktop workflows. For example, one of our customers is building an AI agent for hospital patient intake, and they’re using us to automate an entire team of people manually clicking and typing into a desktop app to book appointments. We launched mid July, and our agent is already operating in production environments, creating appointments in electronic health record apps and processing files in legacy ERPs. We’ve built the first computer use agent that memorizes tasks and repeats them quickly while still adapting to unexpected changes on the screen. A good analogy is to how humans use computers: once we get used to an app, we use it much faster, while still adapting to random popups and crashes. This new paradigm for computer use will be needed by every company automating human workflows on computers. Mahmoud previously built robotic process automation solutions impacting 20K+ employees at a Fortune 100 company. He also built AI & ML solutions at Baylor College of Medicine Neuroscience & Texas Children's Hospital + co-published a paper at the Rice Networks Group. Alan is ex-NASA and previously dropped out to be the first founding engineer at a PearX startup. He is a second time founder, having previously built and scaled a consumer AI app to thousands of paying users. Computer-use agents will automate the $6T dollars spent on enterprise knowledge work and Cyberdesk will be the platform to power this. We’d love to talk with you! https://cal.com/mahmoud-al-madi-klrs5s/30min

  • Zeon Systems
    Zeon Systems
    Y Combinator LogoP2025
Active • 5 employees • San Francisco, CA, USA
We’re building AI-powered systems that automate manual work in scientific labs using robotics. Scientists simply type their experiment in plain English. Zeon translates it into code and runs it on robotic arms (no coding required). By controlling robots with natural language, we’re enabling automation for every lab, every scientist, and every experiment. Zeon is lab-aware. It detects equipment, adapts to protocols, and moves autonomously between instruments to execute full workflows. We’re already working with labs at Stanford and UCSF to accelerate discovery - from running overnight nanoparticle fluorescence measurements to safely disposing of hundreds of bacterial samples. Zeon reclaims time for what matters most: the science.

  • Cenote
    Cenote
    Y Combinator LogoW2025
Active • 3 employees • San Francisco, CA, USA
Cenote builds AI sales reps for online health clinics and deploys them for abandoned-cart and win-back campaigns. Today, digital and telehealth clinics rely on generic text blasts or human follow-up for speed-to-lead and customer reactivation. Since the lead has often gone cold and the outreach isn’t personalized, conversion is frequently below 1%. Cenote’s AI agents reach out immediately, communicate on the patient’s preferred schedule, and operate across channels—dramatically increasing conversion rates and unlocking revenue that otherwise goes unrealized.

E-waste recycling facilities spend most of their time and effort sifting through discarded electronics, searching for valuable devices, refurbishing them, and reselling them in second-hand markets. Our first product is an AI-enabled robotic system that integrates with these facilities to assess and refurbish hundreds of laptops a day without any human intervention. The system tests laptops, wipes their hard drives, photographs them, and posts them on online marketplaces for resale, regardless of model, manufacturer, or operating system.

  • Bucket Robotics
    Bucket Robotics
    Y Combinator LogoS2024
    Active • 5 employees
Bucket Robotics builds deployable computer vision systems for manufacturing — without labeling, long pilots, or fragile rules. We turn CAD and sample data into production-ready vision models that run on existing cameras and edge hardware. No manual labeling. No cold-start problem. Models deploy in minutes and adapt as parts, defects, and lines change. Our roots are in self-driving cars (Argo AI, Uber ATG, Stack AV), where we learned how to ship perception systems that operators trust in messy, real-world environments. We’re applying that playbook to factories: robust sensing, fast iteration, and tooling engineers actually enjoy using. Manufacturers struggle with inspection because parts are too variable for rules-based vision and too expensive to inspect by hand. Legacy systems are rigid, hardware-locked, and slow to customize. We take the opposite approach: software-first vision that fits into existing automation and scales across SKUs, facilities, and workflows. American Manufacturing is in the middle of a $700B automation push — but quality is still a trust problem. Bucket Robotics is building the vision infrastructure that lets factories automate inspection with confidence.

  • Axiom.ai
    Axiom.ai
    Y Combinator LogoW2021
    Active • 8 employees • London, UK
Axiom.ai is building a no-code browser automation tool. This lets anyone automate repetitive work by recording clicking and typing actions in their browser. We think the market has huge potential - companies like UiPath built $10 billion+ businesses by automating processes on the desktop - an industry now known as Robotic Process Automation (RPA). We think RPA has a lot more potential outside the Enterprise. Axiom is on its way to being the industry-standard RPA tool for the browser. It now ranks alongside Selenium - the historical industry standard - as the top result when searching for ‘Browser Automation’ on Google, and is the top-result on Chrome’s extension store.

  • Shipamax
    Shipamax
    Y Combinator LogoW2017
    Acquired • 32 employees • London, UK
Shipamax's core technology can 'understand' any logistics document - outputting a business-ready, machine-readable format. Why does this matter? When customers order online - it feels smooth & simple. But in the background it's chaos. When goods are physically moved around the world, there can be up to 20 companies involved in the transaction. Currently, this is a complex, messy process, with different systems and teams creating a mountain of manual work to get the job done. Customers value our technology as we to help make these behind-the-sceens processes simple. We're making one of the largest segments of the global economy – logistics – more scalable and adaptable to today's on-demand world.
